Joe and Bianca Berwick have a combination of knowledge and passion for Far North Queensland. They started Eclipse FNQ Charters in early 2012 and since then they put their every effort into ensuring each personalised charter is a success and every client leaves satisfied. A hardworking owner/operator team who guarantee you will have that trip of a lifetime.
Having been raised in the region they have spent their entire life on the water and have extensive experience in sport fishing, spear fishing and diving the local waters. Prior to the establishment of Eclipse FNQ Charters, Joe and Bianca have spent the majority of their working career in the Marine industry.
After years of working on live aboard vessels the couple now focus on all the little things that matter when on an extended charter, that often get overlooked. They pride themselves with providing a clean and comfortable live aboard charter with comfortable beds, quality linen, freshly cooked wholesome meals and a relaxed atmosphere.
Eclipse FNQ Charters also utilizes highly experienced contract fishing guides who are familiar with the fishing styles and techniques required for the region. All of our guides are not only professionals but they are also good company.

Skipper/MasterchefBianca has worked extensively around the world onboard numerous luxury yachts and larger commercial vessels as Skipper, Marine Engineer and Mate. She was introduced to the ocean at a very young age and would be safe to say she has spent more of her life on water than on land. She is your dedicated Skipper and will also be your onboard cook preparing fresh meals including your catch of the day. “You can’t come to an amazing destination like this and eat bad food! “

Engineer/Skipper/Mud Crab wranglerJoe has a strong background in Barramundi Aquaculture and has also spent a lot of his days on the water working in the commercial fishing industry. His youth was spent growing up on a farm on the Daintree River and exploring the Great Barrier Reef and his love of the region reflects this. Joe is an experienced Engineer and knows the Eclipse and her fleet of tenders inside out and back to front. Joe will often be found around Eclipse servicing and checking gear ensuring all is running smoothly or preparing one of his famous beach BBQ’s for the clients to arrive back to after a hard days fishing.”Every day is different, it could be the sea, the wind, the weather or the people, no two are the same. Fishing GuideLee is the owner of Weipa Sports Fishing, as well as being one of the guides. He leads the team with experience and enthusiasm, driving the commitment of providing guests with the very best possible fishing trip of a lifetime. As a guide and business owner, Lee has a total commitment to customer service. He lives and breathes fishing and when he isn’t working, he’s out fishing himself. He loves fly, lure and spear fishing. He’s lived in Weipa since 2006 and started Weipa Sports Fishing in 2010. He knows these waters like the back of his hand and will do his very best to ensure he puts you in the right place, at the right time to land the big one.

Experiences drawn from years of guiding clients in a multitude of waters, both inshore flats and offshore Marlin and GT work puts Dave in front of the crowds.Searching for new waters and improving techniques and doing it with a casual yet professional attitude is his approach to guiding.
